Ridiculous amount of money is mentioned and City stands still, so either it's some kind of revenge for Kane (which I think is stupid as business is business and 60m is good money for Savio) or we have plans for him and need him stay.
So maybe we are going to play with wingbacks and Savio could be very useful in that system:

So that's why maybe for us it's more important to keep Savio, than buy Rodrygo...
And also I think it's more logical that Pep didn't waste whole summer analysing last season's failures and decided to start new season with 4-3-3, Rico as RB and stuff like that. I believe in Pep, therefore I expect more from him, than we saw in yesterday's line-up...
