26 | Savinho - 2025/26

I don't particularly want him to leave.

However until listening to Tim Vickery on Sky I wasn't aware that Savinho had featured in 6 consecutive internationals before being dropped completely after Ancelotti had taken over as Brazil Coach.

In a World Cup Year, and also given the prestige of the Brazilian national team (completely different to ours) Savinho will be desperate to do well this season, and might be aware that he'll probably get more minutes in a Tottenham shirt.
Listened to that when Vickery said he wasn't in the June Brazil squad, forgot to mention he was with us at the CWC, sums up Sky Sports entirely!

Haven't listened to anything on that shit stain of an organisation for years.
Better for it

We should look to sell for that price ,but only if we have a replacement lined up
We should be looking at £70mil package, £60m with £10mil add-ons as a minimum, hopefully with a sell-on clause

Kudus, Elanga went for £55mil and neither have Savinho upside and ceiling, plus we are at a club where we dont need to sell

£40mil or £50mil would be criminal

I saw an article earlier quoting 67m (pounds not Euros)

I'd still like him to stay to rotate with Bobb.

But if he is dead at on going, get 70m and call it a day, dont wat players dont want to be here but want good value for him.

I like Savio but he’s outplayed by the others when it comes to end product. Can understand he wants the minutes so if he wants to go, let him go.

I dont think anyone can say we are worse off if he leaves.

Yeah. Sadly I don't think him departing would be a major loss as it stands.

That said, he's had one season with us, in a season when the player of the year from the season before was dogshit and many others were under par too. I wouldn't mind giving him another season around a refreshed squad to see what he can do.

When he joined, it looked like he had a bit of Mahrez or Giggsy in him, but the end product was lacking.

That end product may never come, so if we do get an offer now that feels over the odds from what we've seen of him, I think we have to consider it. Id be happy enough to see him stay another season at least, just to see where he's at then.

Reckon Spurs properly push for Savinho now Eze isn't happening. That's if it wasn't an illegal approach by Arsenal and he signs a 3 year extension at Palace.

I hope we sell at 60 million. We don’t need him and he’s got a bad attitude.

Ridiculous amount of money is mentioned and City stands still, so either it's some kind of revenge for Kane (which I think is stupid as business is business and 60m is good money for Savio) or we have plans for him and need him stay.

So maybe we are going to play with wingbacks and Savio could be very useful in that system:

-------------------Donnarumma---------------------------
-------John-----------Ruben------------Guardiol---------
Matheus-----Rodri-------------Reijnders----------Savio
----------Foden------Haaland------Marmoush------------

So that's why maybe for us it's more important to keep Savio, than buy Rodrygo...

And also I think it's more logical that Pep didn't waste whole summer analysing last season's failures and decided to start new season with 4-3-3, Rico as RB and stuff like that. I believe in Pep, therefore I expect more from him, than we saw in yesterday's line-up...

Please someone tell me that this is possible and Pep is not planning to play whole season with Rico-Ait-Nouri fullbacks and Savio/Doku inside wings

I quite liked the look of the guy who scored the first goal for Grimsby last night. Mind you and the second poachers finish which any keeper would (not) have struggled with was also special. I also want a magnetic player position board for Christmas- one with Amistillinajob’s face on it rather than a pitch.
