Not fair comparison.. but a blind man can see he won't have the offensive production of what we want from him!

Some players just have absolute venom in their shots..

Some are average.

and Savinho is the first one I've ever seen made us think a toddler could kick a ball better.

With Savinho after a year and a half.. at best he's slated to be Doku's backup.. but I just don't see him as a starter for City long term.

I say that without hate, without any agenda.. just dissapointment. Wished he'd really become Mahrez 2.0 but those are very big shoes to fill apparently.

Mahrez was 23 when he signed for Leicester, 27 by the time he came to us.

Savinho is 21 right now. So long as his overall performance is decent, he has plenty of time to develop and become more clinical.

Far from being a fan of Savinho but thought he was decent last night and had the beating of the full back.

Impressively he manages to kick it into the ground. Hit it like a bullet across the ground and it goes in, bring back Sane for some shooting technique training.

It was a decent enough save, but it was still a piss weak badly timed shot. Someone like Sane would have smashed that bottom corner.

On another note, at the end of the clip you immediately see him raise his arm about the injury he’s picked up, but no one near him for any of the incident. Fuck knows what he’s done, but can only assume it’s a hammy?

When he went down injured I thought he's just feigned injury out of embarrassment. It seems he is genuinely injured though.
While very talented, and he is speedy and tricky, mentally he looks and behaves like a lightweight and I truly doubt whether he will ever get the number of goals he should and that we need.

I don't have a timescale, but we have a 21 year old who is missing the final product from his game and it feels like something which a decent coaching team can develop? As a squad player, I'm fine with that.

Mahrez was world class, but he was hardly setting the world on fire at Le Havre when he was Savinho's age. Hence a cheap move to Leicester.

He comes good we have a top player he scores them goals last night they’d be different chat about him he is doing a lot of good things but just not coming off that will come..

How long does it take to "coach" someone to strike a ball? He doesn't have it and no amount of coaching is going to change that. Too many non scorers in our side ,he's definitely one of the biggest culprits.
