Strange to post that today when he didn’t do much wrong defensively.

Agree with most on here, he’s an brilliant footballer but an average defender. Keep him higher up the pitch

I’m not sure. Two very attacking teams and Cancelo is told to get forward. Full backs will always be suspect defensively when playing that way. Same as TAA.

Anyone seen Salah yet?

Strange to post that today when he didn’t do much wrong defensively.

He made key errors in both of Liverpool's goals today. Should put himself in a better position and should stop Salah from turning. He did none.
It is unfair to blame everything on him but he should take part of the blame.
Really frustrating because all of the 4 goals we lost vs Liverpool this season were more or less connected to him.

He’s just had the best player in the league in his pocket for 90+ minutes and was one of our most dangerous players

Salah did not score but he played very key part in both of the goal and Cancelo should do better.
In both situation, when Foden went wide to defend TAA, Cancelo should take attention and stay close to Salah to prevent him receiving the ball. But he did not and that resulted in Salah free to receive and turn.

Of course Laporte Walker and Foden (in the first goal) all shared part of the blame.

Really heartfelt interview with Joao on the official site. Top guy. Would love him to get back among the goals. I feel he is one of our most accomplished footballers. Two great feet and wonderful balance.
