Come on guys..The player is absolutely dogshy te..How many times does he give the ball away..No excuses for him he's a friggin International..What does everyone see in him..Think of all the minutes he's played and all the times he's had the ball and you can count on one hand the good things hes done this season...dreadful player.

Having similar situation last season, in poor form at the end of season. Think he will always have this fixed rise and fall of performance, great at start and middle but will start to fall at the end.

He has needed a rest for a bit now his effort is there but mentally been a bit sloppy.

Been poor a few weeks tbf but has been given the benefit of the doubt for being fantastic 80% of the season so far

Poor is far too harsh. cancelo seems to suffer a harsh backlash more than most when he's not on fire at the top of his game. The nature of his game means he takes risks, they come off, he's the best thing on the planet, they don't and he's labelled as poor. Reality is he was absolutely fine, there's always going to be sloppiness to his game, carried out his role to an adequate standard it's just that with what he's asked to do for the team he's either a 9/10 or a 6/10 it's hard for him to be 7-8/10 because of what's involved in his game.

Both fullbacks seems to be playing very wide this season, very different from the inverted fullbacks from last season.

It is interesting as to why Pep is doing this, perhaps wanting the wingers to play inside more, or something else.

Has a bad run and his invitations for opponent counters are terrible. When he makes a mistakes he panics and produces more and more (he must be a terrible golf player, unable to refocus).
When he doesn't start making mistake he produces world class performances doing things not many can.

We can't afford those mistakes vs Real and I'm not too disappointed he'll sit that one out and be back fresh for Leeds away.
