His ability to drive at defences with speed is a huge positive but obviously comes with its own draw backs when he loses it.
Still, there’s plenty to work with and his potential after getting to grips with us and Pep is glaringly obvious.

He's good at taking the ball on the turn and driving forward through the lines to get us up the pitch.
Needs to work on his final pass a little

Currently to selfish. Not working hard enough for the team and some of his decisions are selfish in terms of pass selection. Wouldn’t want to rely on him in a scrap.

One firm tackle and he disappears for a long spell. Too fragile imo

I thought he played quite well last night and his reverse pass to De Bruyne was the catalyst for the first goal. Yes, he could have been braver for Luton's first goal, but so could Bernardo

He just needs to score a few goals, if only to silence those people who are too quick to find faults

The bloke next to me last night was slagging him off straight from the kick off.

That is a major weakness at the moment, he does not like to be tackled hard and defenders know it.

I still think he will become a very good player for us in time.

At times he looks lost in midfield, unsure of where he's meant to be. Would be better to be used on the wing until he becomes more accustomed to the system.

Definitely a player in there, had a decent game last night and played a lovely weighted pass to Kdb for the 1st goal. Needs to work on his final ball/shot but nonetheless encouraging signs.
