Difficult one to manage. Walked off the park Man of the Match, yet we probably all suspect that it's unlikely he'll start at Brentford away, so how do you keep his confidence up and give him game time? Not a criticism of either, just acknowledging that it's a tricky one for all.

It’s a squad game from here to the last game.

As a new player here, he’s fighting for trophies he’s never won before, and will be an integral member of the squad.

He has a size, strength and speed that fits very nicely into our mix of technically brilliant littl’uns and his performance tonight was indicative of what he brings to the team.

Have been a fan from the outset, and his speed and size are things I’ve been advocating for in midfield, so I think he has a big future here. There was one turn and sprint that was stunning and it’d be nice to see him grab a goal for his efforts in the near future.

Don’t disagree with any of that, just acknowledging that it’s going to be a tricky one to manage.

His best game for us to date, lots to like and pretty dynamic when in full flow. I can see him alternating with Kova who will start away games which may frustrate him …. hope he’s patient and takes his chance when selected.

I loved watching him play last night, and I had no idea he was that fast!
I do fear he has that sulk-gene, but I hop I'm wrong and that he continues to develop under Pep and become even better.

Nunes must see that he is being bedded in as the future. He is 25 years old, plays in the same national team as Dias & Bernardo, who is 4 yrs his senior, and must have understood he was being brought in as an initial squad player who was expected to transition to a regular first team player.

On tonight’s performance, I’d say he has shown he has already achieved that in a midfield that is world class. Accordingly, I believe he has earned the trust of Pep in bring a regular member of that rotation.

As you can tell, I think his trajectory could be KDB-esque at City. His running, his speed, his size…all KDB-esque already. In fact, there was one moment where he was driving forward and saw a pass to his right, but it was going to be a difficult one to make…so he tries to curl it, on the run, with the outside of his right foot!

Sadly, the pass didn’t spring the attacker, but it was a peek behind the curtain of what he thinks is in his locker, even though it didn’t quite come off.

I think he’s a semi-cut diamond that Pep is going to polish into a dazzling gem in this team…just in time to take over the mantel of one of our best players ever.

Thought that was his best game so far. Got all the attributes to become an important player for us, just needs to get a decent run of games but not sure when he'll get that given the competition for places. Just needs to be patient and takes his chances when they come.
