I don't understand why he's not being tried out at RB.

Despite all the people yelling he's useless.. what he can do is cover ground with pace, tackle and get passes through to Erling. No one else has done that in a month. A FUCKING MONTH and Haaland just sits there with no service.

For everyone saying he's not technical enough.. he's way more technical than Walker and doesn't shoot crosses 40 rows up into the stands!

FFS we tried Delph, Ayme, Phil, Zinny, Bernardo before settling on Ake and then Gvardiol @ LB sheesh!
He can't tackle and his positional awareness would probably make Walker look like Baresi.

How many tackles has our GOAT DM Kalvin Philipps made since he was signed on roughly twice Nunes's salary?

Does he make Walker look like Baresi??

No I'm thinking Walker still looks like Walker

Don't know if you've realised, but Phillips hasn't played for us in over a year and is currently on loan to Ipswich. And never played at right back either. Very odd comparison.

No I'm making a point that our bad recruitment is at fault for our current situation.. not Nunes.

Undroppable.

Even with everybody fit, Id pick him to be Rodris partner. He is Gundogans heir.

That duo would have height, physicality and steel.

Nunes can then push higher when a defender goes next to Rodri.
How could you suggest him as a 6 after the utter shit show that happened against Feyenoord when he was tried in the 6 role for the last 20 mins.

He had improved a little bit but not enough and he’s just a Wimp.

He wimped out of everything the whole time he was on the pitch yesterday, even wimped out of controlling the ball a few times.

Always remember the reaction from the wolves fans when it became clear he was joining us. Amused and baffled that we wanted him, delighted with the fee. They were right and txiki wrong. Been largely ok in his appearances but fleeting at best. Nowhere near the level needed for a top 6 PL club. Viana will have a tough job in offloading him.

Which of the 3 goals was his fault?

I mean I'm all for agreeing with you but there has to be some evidence before we crucify the guy!

Remind me which one of the defensive fuck ups was on him in that game?

They didn’t overrun us in midfield until he was dropped to one of the 6s.

Whilst none of the goals was because of him, the huge whole where our midfield was changed their approach and upped their confidence.

I'm not sure you watched the game pal. They didn't overrun us at any point, they got a major slice of fortune with a massive fuck up in defence gifting them a goal, second was an overhit cross which they got a huge slice of luck with combined with some level of goalkeeping error and the last goal was a great through ball that our defence didn't bother to track the runners for and forced our keeper into kamikaze action.

They took confidence from our own defensive errors, they didn't suddenly start dominating once Nunes dropped in as the 6, you've created a link to 2 things that had no credible link. You may aswell blame James Mcatee's introduction to the game as the cause of our collapse, there's about the same level of credibility to that claim as there is laying any at Nunes.

Eugh pointless shitty stats, can't stand them. Mo Salah lost possesion 11 times.

He's been a shining light in the dross the last few weeks, talk about scapegoat

Gvardiol passing the ball to their players doesn't mean they overran our midfield.

Had we had Rodri, Bernardo and Gundogan in midfield for the last 15 mins, they would have made 300 passes between them and we’d have won the game 5-0.

As it was, we took Gundogan off and only had Bernardo who can control a game.

Sure, there were defensive fuck ups, but we had no midfield in the last 15 minutes and no control.

Couple that with the fuckups and we had the perfect storm for a collapse.

My guess is that we will never see Nunes used as a 6 again. It was Kalvin-vs Southampton-esque.

He’ll be used as a winger and an occasional 8.

At least Mo Salah can win a few duels ....and gat a few shots away

Shots off target

His performance and lack of desire / get his sleeves rolled up was embarassing

Nunes has most assists so far, while playing far fewer minutes than other attacking and midfield players. He's done reasonably well, having made 8 goal contributions, more than both Foden and Grealish (combined?).
