I suspect not, but it does not mean that he cannot be a valuable member of the squad. We cannot have 22 world class players. We have to have a blend of talents willing to work together and compete with each other for the common good. It is exceedingly rare that they will all be superstars without it causing problems.

Fair enough. I’ve not slagged him off just can’t see him nailing down a spot on the left wing long term.
As long as he has that connection with Erling and there are not better playmakers/ assisters in our side.. he'll have a spot where Pep can trust his negatives to not be our downfall.
It's clear he's not a Pep player but he is productive.. a bit like how Pep made peace with Kun Aguero in the sense he preferred Gabby Jesus but Kun provided goals and he just had to play him!

Of those 11 games.. he played 1 minute in 4 of them.
4 minutes in 1 of them.
So basically 3 assists in 6 games.
I don't think that's horrible considering the rest of the team can't seem to get balls through to Haaland.

IMO Nunes is a symptom of the problem, not the cause of it. He's done well enough all things considered.
He's a decent player, but not a world beater - and we've been forced to play him and rely on far more than we should due to injuries/poor recruitment.

No he isn't of the quality of the treble winning side.... but the reality is the bar is a LOT lower now
He's good enough for THIS current side to be a starter
He is one of the few who has pace and who acts like he wants to be there, and he's again one of the few who seem like they know how to play with Haaland....
Again, on another year he doesn't get near the XI but that is our reality, he's a strong premier league level player

At least he’s getting games instead of being another outcast. He’d only ever have got token minutes but for the injury crisis, which is a massive waste of resources.
He is what at £50m player? He came with big price tag and he is being treated as some rotation option .if £50m players don’t play more who will then?- and we've been forced to play him and rely on far more than we should due to injuries/poor recruitment.

Not quite true the reason why we did sign Nunes was the charges that were hanging over Paqueta. We were looking to add a bit more depth and although not first choice fitted the bill at the time.It's not poor recruitment when no one will sell to us or players don't want to come here with 115.

I doubt this claim. First, Pep has played a good hand in being very bullish about the charges and also in extending his contract. Second, I’m pretty sure any elite player joining us would negotiate a release clause to trigger in the event we were out of the Champions League or worse.

The players are not in normal jobs if the worse of all sanctions is applied they simply move due to a release clause in their contract
The lat thing “we” are doing is blotting it out hoping it goes away evidence is the number of pages on the thread
