His mommy hasn't voted yet, i may have been the other vote...

I don't why but I really want this lad to succeed, he's been thrown in all over the pitch and never hides, his critics said a few months ago Pep didn't trust him, it seems now he's a go to player, and is expected to fill in and perform where ever he's needed - a few should remember that when looking for his faults.

His reluctance to cross and try to cut back only to lose the ball every single time is infuriating

He has a great cross in him.. look at his earlier crosses on Haaland's goals this season. For clarification he's got the most assists to Haaland of anyone not named KDB or Foden.

Think he's under instruction not to cross it but square it across the ground. Like his instinct is to cross it high but he remembers.. no he doesn't want to go against instructions (so gets caught in two minds)

Whatever the doubts about his long term future with us, respect the fact that he never hides, he brings pace and athleticism .

Decent performance and without him this season things would have been even worse.

If he can really knuckle down and cut out the daft errors, he might be able to nail down a spot here.

In many respects he can do everything we need a full-back to do. He can be an extra midfielder, he add width, can over lap and deliver a decent ball. He can defend against counter attacks with his pace.

We just need reliability and consistency from him now.

Nunes at RB is one of the decisions that is turning the season round. Nunes is incredibly versatile. He has started PL games at LW and RB within months. Still lacks a bit of confidence, but he can be a very solid player for us.

Mad some of the hyperbole on this thread. He was dire Weds did okay yday against a woeful Sancho and some folk describing him as a ‘brilliant player’ and the saviour of our season. To get back to the level we were at the lad needs to be on the bench and a better player on the pitch.

It’s the creating space aspect that I think is the most important thing he brings to the side from RB. Keeps the pitch stretched, doesn’t constantly congest the midfield by inverting to no effect, and is always in motion

You don’t have to be perfect if you play with those energy levels and open the game up for your teammates. He’s making a big difference out there

He was waiting on the wing in acres of space multiple times but didn’t get the ball especially second half. Did well in keeping the width.

To be fair, I saw one where he beat the full back and looked up and no one was there. Haaland was near the edge of the box jogging. Did the right thing and kept it.

To be fair, we've had good examples of midfielders who aren't good enough to get consistent minutes in the midfield shifting to full back like Delph and Zinchenko.

Quite agree with you, I said in another thread I've cut him some slack but fuck me he doesn't do himself any favours at times ;-)
