Another victim of the ridiculous recruitment and squad planning alongside the stupid decision to want a small squad when we’re going to play more football than any other team and have done so for a few years.

He will never succeed at city because he isn’t good enough to call a position his own and there is no shame in that. I’d sign for City too and I’m not good enough either. We cannot expect him to shine at right back in a team that is performing this poorly and is is this fragile.

Rico Lewis is a poor footballer but he is a better and more natural right back than Nunes. Lewis should definitely have played.

He was the out ball and we used it to find him several times in advanced positions. Whether he was told to wait for support or not, I don't know, but a few early crosses wouldn't have hurt us. Our goal came from him getting forward and laying it back to a colleague. Mostly though, it was very safe and predictable and should have caused them more problems than it did.

Fucking useless at right back.
Didn’t once swing a cross in despite being in good advanced areas many times.
What a gash signing!

We passed the ball far too slowly to ever get him the ball in a crossing position. Every time it went out to him, because of the walking tempo we played at, they had set themselves to defend a cross long before Nunes could put one in. we had Haaland in the box and nobody else, if they're set and have 3 or 4 men to 1, if I'm a defender, I'm begging you to stick crosses in all day in that situation. Unless we are flooding the box, crosses have to come in quickly before the defence gets a chance to set otherwise you're not scoring, we as a team, not just Nunes were never in that situation all game. Im completely certain Nunes would have been subbed off had he put in numerous crosses from those situations with a set defence and just haaland in the box.

Not sure what Pep wants, a right back who can be a winger or a winger who can be a right back.
He seems to be given the right back place then told to stand on the touchline as far advanced as he can then when the ball arrives hold it up until others arrive.
Walker was a right back and only went on overlaps but first and foremost a right back.
I can't judge Nunes without understanding his role but he wasn't the poorest today.
He does seem weak in the tackle if I had any complaints.

He’s done ok but is clearly not the answer. The biggest plus from this Nunes experiment is that Pep has finally realised that Rico is not the answer either. We will sign a new RB.

Your mistakes are your mistakes, but I do think the defence is more nervous with him in it.

I think he’s one of the most limited players we have had for a long time and him in the first team is a failure.

Outside of that, I have no issue with him. He tries hard, gives it his all and playing in a position which is not his norm.

I think it’s clubs fault and not his.

If Nunes is going to provide the width from RB, he has to be more aggressive when in possession. Theres no point in him leaving the RB position, ending up in the RW position and then every action being to pass backwards.
Yeah, I don't think he can play RW either, I'd rather have an actual RW like Bernado and then he can support the RW with cut-backs. That way he can at least put some decent crosses into the box.
