Have people not realised how many games there will be a season from now on?

Nunes is a great squad player who will seemingly fill in anywhere the manager asks without complaining. Why on earth would we sell him given who else needs moving on this summer?

I personally like Nunes but this season he’s played LW and RB. We’ve signed Marmoush who plays LW and we will sign a RB in the summer, which means Nunes is redundant. Pep clearly doesn’t trust him in midfield, it’s been shite most of the season and he still couldn’t get a look-in

Some people expect 25 world class players. Even Real Madrid doesn’t have that

Yeah I feel like he would have been really useful in some of our previous teams. In the days where we were parked on the edge of the opponent's box trying to find a way through, I really think he could have provided a real strong plan b with his pace and direct ball playing skills, and he would have helped with tempo due to his high energy defending

The problem we have at the moment is the whole team is underpar. So all his strengths are being undone by his weaknesses

And unfortunately for him, I think his weaknesses are more pronounced than most in the team. It's definitely worth biding our time with him, as if we can get back to our previous levels, he could really start to show his worth

The sudden disregard of our players is disappointing.
Barring injury, we have a squad comparable with the absolute best in football. We have just hit a physical and mental wall after a decade of breaking records.

I said currently world class. We have had world class players in KDB, Gundo, Silva, Walker but they aren’t right now.

Haaland, Foden, Rodri, Dias, Stones, Gvardiol, to name but six.
Savinho is on his way, for sure.
And that's if I agree that all of the players you mention are permanently done.

Probably not the best use of a £50m asset , we could let a youth player get those minutes instead

That's sort of where I'm at too.

He is currently always fit (a luxury in our squad).

Can play multiple positions (LW, RW, RB, CM).

Yes, he isn't the best player in any of those positions, but he quite perfectly fills out the team as a "squad" player, even if he isn't a "starting 11" player.

Has pace, stamina, is up there with highest assists on the team this season, and is in his prime.

For me, it's kind of insane to think of getting rid of him, there are 6 or 7 other players I think we should do for the betterment of the squad, before I get to Nunes.

If you think Gvardiol is currently world class I don’t know what to say. I genuinely think the quality of football has gotten worse over the years. Gvardiol is a fantastic footballer but he isn’t world class yet but I’m sure he will be.

I believe that he is, but I will take will be.
He tops nearly every matrix for defenders in the top -five leagues.
Of course, like several players, they have really suffered and not looked what they are.

Well world class will be still world class. Compared to the older players of the previous generation. No. Compared to current football, yes.
 
So strange how his season has gone.
Never played in his right position, was put out on the wing and was one of our best contributors in terms of goals and assists for that period.
Then put to right back where he's never played before. He made some mistakes but also showed some promising signs.
Now he can't get a look in.

I'd give him a go in midfield alongside Nico to see how he gets on.
Whats the worst that can happen. We're already a man or two down with some of the players we've had on.
