Always filled me with dread when I saw Nunes on the teamsheet at RB, but in reality he's not making too bad a fist of it, and was delighted for him to get the winner last night.
AND, I think he's less of a liability than shag anything that moves walker had become
Nunes is better than Lewis and walker at rb. Who would have thought that start of the season?

Are you thick? He cannot score if he is injured you fucking idiot. It's like saying Rodri has had a stinker goal wise this season, do you see how stupid that would sound. In that year he played about 10-15 games maximum. Whilst that is still obviously a bit crap it isn't like the 70 plus games that took place during that year but everybody jumped on the fake news, like the Murphy one recently, that Murphy has more goals and assists this season than Jack in the last 5 years. Completely and utterly not true but the mentally challenged like yourself lap it up.

1 good season out of 4 which resulted in the best in the clubs history, currently beats 0 good seasons out of 2 for Nunes. Grealish won't be here next year, Pep isn't having him clearly. When played Grealish has been decent this season, then found himself out the team. Again, you want to go in on a player who is getting next to no minutes and laud a man who single handedly lost us the derby. I wasn't even going in on Nunes too much, he has done a job, a job for the lesser level e have played at this season and if we rely on the likes of him again next season then you best strap in for a bumpy journey.
Why are you swearing at them? Everything ok at home? Grealish is prime maradona reincarnated, happy now? you’re probably one of them people who blame Pep for Jacks downfall. Anyways hope Nunez builds on this performance

I find this an odd forum at times.

Seemingly it's quite fine to be aggressively abusive in replies to a poster but God forbid you make a joke or question a person's politics.

Not wanting to join in a "discussion" thats entirely irrelevant to this thread but you cant just make things up, say them repeatedly and expect us all to just accept it.

Between his league goals over a year apart, he wasn't in the squad for 10 games in total. A couple of which pep confirmed that he was dropped from the squad and was not injured. He played a part in 26 league games in that time and was an unused substitute in another 14 games so was in the squad for 40 league games, and that's without bothering with the 3 cup competitions in that time too.

So not quite the 10-15 games maximum you're suggesting.

Whoever signed Philips should be horsewhipped in the centre circle before the last home game of the season.

Pep clearly has no patience for those not good enough or those who talk back to him.

I dunno why but it speaks volumes how Nunes's arc has gone from being total shit to dependable.

He must have put in a lot of work behind the scenes and actually learned what Pep is asking of him!

No big fan of Nunes and he does seem to make a mistake in every game that usually leads to a goal but unless we can get Akanji in at right back, he is our best option at the moment…..he’s not the only one to struggle at right back this season, probably due to the amount of ground a Pep right back has to cover.

Not sure he’s ever going to be top class but also have to credit him for the improvement he has shown plus willingness to give it a go at right back and the goal will do his confidence no end of good.

Due to his pace I think he has to play on Sunday.

Hate it when commentators call him Nyoon-nyez

As somebody with Portuguese in-laws, this has been grating at me for years. I fucking hate it. Not a single commentator seems to have a clue.

Besides the fact he's asked them repeatedly for years to call him Matheus - it only got 100 times worse when that useless lump showed up for the Scousers and every man and his dog started pronouncing it Núñez with some shit attempt at faux-Spanish emphasis. If you're going to try and look culturally aware by over-pronouncing names in other languages, then at least do it in the right fucking language.

Imagine that Gvardiol mistake was done by Nunes , he will be crucified about it until the end of time.

On a serious note, I am glad with our back four and still think Nunes & Nico will keep improving as they learn the role of this new position to them.

Funny enough, Gvardiol has made that kind of mistake leading to goals more often than Nunes has, but they are treated differently.

Fair enough, Joslo is a far superior player. But still... :)
