Defended back post crosses really well but didn't defend crosses from his side nearly as well as Khusa was. 58% pass completion and most dribbled past player on the pitch. Not bad, not great.

How was he not great? Didn't put a foot wrong. I'd suggest 58% is higher than the average and I dont remember him getting beat once.

Best player? Seriously???

Spent more times on his arse than anything else, and lost his man for their equaliser, although it was Ake who played him onside.

Hopefully Khusa will be back next weekend.

Both things can be true - he did fall over countless times, he most definitely wasn’t our best player in the second half but he wasn’t to blame for their goal

I can’t stand Nunes. I think he’s a symbol of our poor transfer policy but fairs fair. He was ok today.
 
He played well for sure, though I was nervous with the sub.

But very early on he slipped twice, he needs to figure out if that was from his gait or shoes, because it can't be the pitch as I didn't see others slipping.

Is that for the full game? I'd like to see if it os possible to isolate the stats of those that played the full game to just the second half for a fairer comparison.

If he was trying to pass it out and kept giving it away in dangerous positions it would be somewhat relevant stat but the entire second half was a backs to the walls, get rid situation, we wasnt even trying to complete passes in our own half. He had a fantastic half. Shut everything down on his side, constantly alert at the back post to stop that favoured source of attack, used his pace well to get back and cut out balls. Did absolutely nothing wrong.

It’s not his fault we bought him. I’m sure he’s having a great time

We went for Bellingham, Rice, Paqueta and wound up with Nunes. We needed a midfielder but we’ve ended up with a 2nd/3rd choice right back who has cost us more goals than soft Mick

He’s going into his 3rd year with us. That isn’t a good thing

Now, like I said, I’ve no complaints today but from a wider point of view he shouldn’t really be here

I’d rewatch the goal if I were you. Martinelli ran off the back of Ake and got on Gvardiol’s blind side.

Zero to do with Nunes.
