29 Games to quadruple

Much of it I suspect is used so if we win, lets say two trophies's, they can say, well it's disappointing as they could have had four.

I think we'll win the Capital One Cup, not sure about the FA Cup because it depends on who we get further down the line and how other commitments fit in, plus any injuries. The hardest I think will be the Premier League followed very closely by the Champions League because I just cannot see who Chelsea and Arsenal are going to lose against, we have a very tough trip to Arsenal too. As for the Champions League, if we beat Barcelona we could very easily get a shit team or a massive one like Real Madrid so it's the luck of the draw really. Eventually winning a quadruple will be down to whether we can put out a squad capable of winning matches whilst juggling all of the competitions, February to March is going to be absolutely key in keeping players fit, we need to invest further in the squad I think in certain areas if we are to do it. I am in one mind excited but in another I'm not looking forward to any of this because as usual with City, we'll do it the hard way!!

Can't see who we will lose against either :)

We're comfortably the best team in England, we were last season but we didn't get it right. This season we're getting it right so far and if we play to our potential we'll bag 2 trophies.

To be fair my take on it is..... I will be gutted if we don't win the League Cup. Because it will mean we loose to Sunderland in the final or them lot. I will be gutted if we don't win the league because we are the best team/squad, anything else is a bonus!!

I dislike the quadruple talk because it is a 99.999999 percent impossibility ..it dumbs down any achievements we may earn that's less than the 4 trophies I will be proud with 2 of the 4

That's a good point.

Bloody hell, the quadruple thread.

Imagine being a time traveler to these forums from January 2008 and reading the "quadruple thread" on here in January 2014 with less than half of the season to go... and an FA Cup, Prem title and Charity Shield already in the trophy cabinet. Not to mention the 6-1 or the Aguerooooo moment, or the 99 goals in less than five months.

Jesus H Navas, what has happened here? No wonder the scum are reeling and refusing to talk about football.

Never in doubt, of course.

Re: Bloody hell, the quadruple thread.

Was talking about this over Xmas. From that Stuart Pearce season, where we scored once at home in 5 months, to where we are now is unbelievable.
