2nd Best Frontman In Music

How the Fuck did knobhead Albarn rank higher than Bruce Dickinson? Has anybody heard that Chelsea twat sing live it’s bloody awful

Great, great singer but not top of the list as a show man etc. I saw him last year, not for the first time, and for the encore Brian Johnson and Robert Plant walked out to sing with him and the most memorable moment of a very good show became Plant turning his back to the crowd and raising both arms liked he'd just scored the winner for Wolves v Liverpool...

Rodgers deserves to be mentioned at least the Top Ten. Free were the most single minded of all the British blues rock bands. No off key wailing. No playing a guitar with a violin bow. Free were like a pulsating machine until Kossoff decided he liked smack more than music.

Rodgers for me (a long with Bon Scott) is probably the most appealing male voice in rock. Doesn't really scream, he has a smokey tenor that just growls. There are not many singers like that. Scott Weiland from STP was one.

I wouldn't even put Rodgers in the top 20 front men that I've seen but he is easily top ten as a (rock) singer. I was very impressed by just how versatile he is as a singer: he was far better than I expected when fronting Queen.
