What a one eyed thread, you basically just said let's look at Hughes questionable signings. For the record;
TBH-bought when we had no money
Bertie- quite clearly bought as back up squad member and to help Jo settle
Zab- fantastic signing.
Moving on his other signings are;
SWP - great
Kompany - future captain
Robinho- not a Hughes signing? maybe, but if he was a flop I bet he would be.
Jo - talented young player.
So out of 7 signings only 1 you could argue is an out and out bad buy.

What's with all this "I luv Charley Corluka' crap. I liked Breadvan but HE wanted to go. Hughes did want him to stay, he tried to get him to stay but a player who wants to go . . . . will not have his heart in the job. And did you see that old geezer and duffer Duff give im the runaround at weekend.
