He was very very good, yes. But not on their level. Laporte is a technically world class CB passer and Stones is an intellectually world class CB passer.I'm not sure that the difference between Stones and Laporte now and Otamendi 17/18 is anywhere near as big as you're remembering, personally. Otamendi was comfortably on their level IMO.
Bet Ruben didn't sleep Sunday night.I'm pretty pleased he made the small error because I was binging tho think he wasn't human. Fantastic player.
Dias has been incredible so far and has transformed us, without any doubt. But I don’t understand those that simply can’t accept that he made a mistake. He actually made two mistakes that resulted in the penalty. It doesn’t change his half-season review - he’s still colossal for us, but surely we can recognise he could have done a lot better there? People think saying he made a mistake is the same as saying he’s shit, it’s a bit odd in my opinion. There wasn’t an error, shameful dive and there wasn’t a single replay. He will take it personally and we won’t concede again for a while. We shackled their entire team. Anfield curse is lifted.
It was an error of judgement and a situation where he could definitely have done much better, but what people are saying is that it was only a penalty because the filthy rat Salah ensured it was.Dias has been incredible so far and has transformed us, without any doubt. He mistimed the ball. Mistake. He let the rat bastard dive. Mistake. But you'll find dozens of times a player has his arm on another players arm in the box and they're not a penalty. That shameless diving prick does down like he's been sniped with a 50cal, so I don't blame Dias for it. Perfectly fine challenge.Dias has been incredible so far and has transformed us, without any doubt. But I don’t understand those that simply can’t accept that he made a mistake. I think it's just managing him so he's fresh for Spurs, don't think he's actually injured.Any word on his injury?
Hope it’s nothing serious with the games coming thick and fast this month..
