I was very aprehensive watching the match today. Much like I felt with Bernardo's first game for you. I was literally shaking everytime he had the ball, hoping he didn't screw up or something. It's weird, I want him to succeed so much...

In the end it was a good first game. Solid. Too bad about the result, but I'm sure you guys will get back on top once your strikers are available again. :)

Once he settles and adapts to the team he should be more comfortable on the ball. Liked what I saw.

I didn’t shit it when the ball went to him or near him so thus far it’s a huge upgrade.

Given he’s been here for so little time and in the second half would’ve needed binoculars to see our midfield I thought he did really well.

Look forward to seeing more.

There was a 4 man breakaway by Leeds and we had 4 defenders. the breakaway seemed to slow down and I thought were the fuck are the midfield there must have been a 30 yard gap

There was one instance when Walker was harrying his man & ended up in midfield, due to nobody tracking back & no def mid, the guy backheeled it & we had a player running free down the wing. Walker shouted to Dias to stay wide then sprinted back into Dias' position & Dias made the guy go outside & shoot from there, which he challenged & we got away with it.

That's proper defending, where players are pulled out of position, things go wrong, but they still make it difficult to score, rather than making it piss easy, as we have seen for the past year.
