Dias and stones were imperious today.
I was a bit critical of Reubens ability on the ball after the frustrating WBA game but today he moved positively and quickly. Hope I don't jinx it but he's looking like continuing the Doyle, Watson, Dunne, Kompany tradition of centre back leaders
 
I noticed something really fascinating watching today.

Chelsea put a ball in and Dias had the back four in a line drop about 5 yards.
We dealt with the ball then he's got the back four as one pushing up together about 5 yards again, thought it looked really organised and he's definitely the one voice at the back.
It's really looking like he's got the vinnie leadership in him.

I saw him organizing Fernandihno at one point, and thought, give him the band already. His an Ultra leader.

Maybe it’s a Dias?

He’s been a game changer, given what we witnessed before he tuned up.

Should be made captain in due course if he carries it on.
 
Love how vocal he is and how he congratulates and celebrates each defensive effort and strives for that clean sheet and continued concentration.

Stones looks world class alongside him too. And to think we have Ake and Laporte as well...wow!
 
Still early days but the signs are looking good on Dias,as already mentioned him being vocal and barking out orders looks like what we‘ve been missing since kompany left ...
