Two poor errors that should have cost us goals in a game where they got into our half about 4 times all game. He'd be 5th choice cb right now if we had a fully fit and available squad.

He certainly seems to be getting done in a lot of one on one's at the moment. Muscled off the ball way too often. Needs to pull up those shorts and bear those thunder thighs like the Ruben of 2 years ago......

In the one on one running back to goal, it’s clear he runs across the path of the forward, because he was expecting Ortega to keep coming out (he had rushed forward, but stopped!) as Ederson would have done.

When Ortega stopped, And Dias had stopped hunting the ball and was merely attempting to slow down the player for the keeper’s clearance, it made Dias look REALLY bad that the player got to the ball.

All that said, it is clear he is not operating at the levels we have previously seen from him and rather than being 1 or 2 in the pecking order with Stones, the fitness, availability, and performances of Akanji & Ake are making it very difficult for him to nail down a spot in the starting XI.

Shouldn't start if the other defenders are fit at the moment. Easily our least in form CB this season.

Not at it at the moment. Shadow of the pillar we had last 2 seasons. Form is temporary though, hope he's back on track soon
