I think the amazing thing about Ruben is he is still ONLY 26 years old and his best years are still ahead of him. Incredible how well he plays for City.

I always wonder why in Portugal he does not the command the backline the same way. I am guessing it’s because of Pepe still being there? Or maybe the Portugal NT ruins everyone because even Bernardo is not the same when he plays for Portugal (granted he has had improved performers under Roberto Martinez).

Ruben you are massive!

A very, very rare poor performance for him IMO. Looked all over the shop from minute one.

Proper captain’s performance. Never stopped talking to his back 4/5 once. Always marshalling the position of the defensive line, always telling them when to move for the shift.

Never let anything get past him all game.

Excellent!

Awful again today and needs to get his game sorted vert quickly
Was coming to see if anyone else watched him and thought he was miles off it. Positioning passing and waiting on the ball for far too long invited pressure absolutely abysmal

I’ve never seen him play so bad as he did today. Giving the ball away. Glad Stones is back as it might put pressure on him

Not a good game today. His passing was really bad. Playing with Ake (another poor passer) doesn't help. Still, Dias is the oeader of the defense and his contribution is vital to our defending even when he plays subpar.
