Yeah the 80 million guy who partnered him yesterday. We need to find a partner for him.
Stones has been amazing, but the injuries are too much, and he can only regress from here on in.

Ah okay....It wasn't a great block or great defending, it was a foul, one he had to make due to his own poor positioning letting them clean through inside a minute.
100 percent correct and hate to say it but not a patch on van dick at Liverpool. He's living on good will from his first and second seasons and getting a pass for a considerable drop off in form and fitness. Lewis and Nunes will get pinned as the weak links, but Dias has been very vulnerable lately.
I agree . Had that standout season when he came and did well the year after but hasn’t done a great deal since then . Very steady player but not on the sane level as gvadiol and dick van dyke .Hasn't a pass worthy of the name in him. Marmoush making some great runs and all Ruben does is pass it sideways to someone else. Nowhere near the player he's hyped up to be. If the right offer comes in Id let him leave and build around Khusanov and Gvardiol.
You've seen the mess at the back this season and decided this summer would be the time to ditch our second most reliable defender and the glue of the back line? That's certainly a bold opinion. And imo, a completely mental one.Hasn't a pass worthy of the name in him. Marmoush making some great runs and all Ruben does is pass it sideways to someone else. Great again last night.Has been great since he got paired with Gvardiol. Hope we stick with the partnership into next season.
I hope that Pep isn't going to stick Gvardiol in that LB position again.Has been great since he got paired with Gvardiol. Hope we stick with the partnership into next season.
Is he though? He talks the talk but I'm not convinced he walks the walk. He may well be vocal and have leadership qualities which a lot of our team lack but his lack of pace and the way he gets dominated by physical players has always been a worry. You've seen the mess at the back this season and decided this summer would be the time to ditch our second most reliable defender and the glue of the back line? Yes he is, he's the only one who tries to bring organisation to a back 4 that regularly are in firefighting mode and all over the shop. And this is from somebody who has been critical of him in the past, there's been times where he would be behind most if not all other defenders but right now he's showing his worth and very much deserves his place. I expect him to be named permanent captain next season not sold.Is he though? He talks the talk but I'm not convinced he walks the walk.
