I’d drop him. Give Stefan a go. No point being good with his feet if teams don’t press us and he just spends 90 minutes rolling it to Laporte or Dias. We need someone to be a difference.

wank for the first goal And nearly gifted son a second.

People are being way too critical of Ederson here they were two good finishes. Yes you’ve seen keepers save those but they’re not a given, the striker is expected to score in those situations.

As for Ederson rushing out, that’s tactical, he has to play higher up the pitch than other keepers to be our sweeper in order for us to play the ridiculously high line Pep insists on, Ederson doesn’t really have an option to stay on his line because he’s rarely starting on his line like other keepers. he basically has to come every time because his starting position will leave him in no mans land if he doesn’t. And that’s not poor positioning it’s intentional. he faces that kind of situation regularly and he saves plenty of them, we shouldn’t be putting him in those situations as often as we do. Anybody thinking Ederson is a problem really needs to think about watching something else instead. Pep couldn’t have a more perfectly suited keeper.

I’d blame absolutely everyone else before I’d blame Ederson for their goals. He was left in the lurch by fucking half asleep cunts throughout the entire team ahead of him.

Are we just ignore Laporte running forward for no reason instead of staying in his position? He would of cut that out

I completely agree. He’s exposed, he’s a proactive keeper. If the defence and midfield were half as proactive at closing people down, the ball wouldn’t get near him!

What in gods name are you talking about. Two good finishes? The first one he made sons mind up, cancelo had covered and he comes rushing out like a brain dead oaf.
He has been good for us but he doesn’t save much when called upon and that’s becoming more and more apparent.

Ederson, Guardiola and any other player or staff who have had successes in the past are not above criticism, that attitude is detrimental to the club and allows complacency to set in which is quite clearly happening right now.

I’ve watched their 1st 20 odd times and cannot understand what Laporte is doing. Kane is Dias’ man and Laporte only has to block the space that Son is trying to get into.

At total blame for both goals. Running out like a headless chicken. If this carries on we need a traditional goalkeeper.
