Its a weird one. Seems his keeping has imroved but his kicking has worsened.Made Haalands goal some good throw outs, some of his kicking though is not up to his usual standards this season and think Brighton goal the pace just beat him there..
People won’t appreciate how vital he is to us until he’s gone. He was shaky at times today and should have done better with their goal. But he made an absolute vital save at 2-1 and brilliantly set up Haaland’s goal. He’s just a keeper you’ve got to accept will blunder now and again. His pros out weigh his cons by milesmight be time for him to taste the subs bench. His kicking has always outweighed any keeping deficiencies but his kicking was abysmal Today and has been below par all season.
Ive been fully behind him, his kicking is imperative to how we play but his kicking was wank and really should have seen go 1-0 down.People won’t appreciate how vital he is to us until he’s gone. Don’t think the pace beat him. His arms went over the ball.Made Haalands goal some good throw outs, some of his kicking though is not up to his usual standards this season and think Brighton goal the pace just beat him there..
It’s a good job he can produce moments of quality with his feet isn’t it? The odd save here and there doesn’t make him a good shot stopper - he’ll never excel at that and the goal today was unbelievably shit from him but then his assist (and a ball to Kev on the wing in the second half) is what he can mainly bring to the table really.
If we didn’t play the way we did then he wouldn’t be here, simple as that really. But we do. And he is. And I wouldn’t swap him out for anybody.
