If it weren’t for Ederson, Villa could have easily got back into that game.

At 3-1, he made a good save from Coutinho, he cut out a pull-back that would have been a tap-in, came out and smothered the ball in what would have been a 1v1 after Akanji gifted them the ball…

Is it me or is his kicking not as effective as well? I think the negatives are starting to overtake the positives?

How much of that would you expect a goalkeeper to do? At our standard? You’re talking about the very basics here, we should have a keeper who pulls off the magnificent

So…he did his job? The basics.
Yet when it comes to anything that is beyond the basics of saving he just can’t be relied upon. It’s a worry.
