Contrary to popular belief, Ortega is not good enough to be our no.1 for a full season.

if thats the case we will bring in another number 1.
everyone knows it will be a big hit if ederson leaves but we will cope. theres good keepers around. yeah, no one as good with their feet as ederson but we do not need the finished product. ederson wasn't when he got here.

A 50m transfer fee means we can go out and sign a top class keeper but I would rather keep the guy.

Top keeper but an amazing character and the sort of player that makes the PL so great.

I think Ortega is a brilliant keeper, if Eddie decides to up sticks then I'm quite comfortable with Stefan, 200%.

Wouldn't begrudge him a move for that money.

Ortega is already a fantastic backup keeper, I think he could look better if given a longer period as starter.

No issues if he wants to go. That type of money can not be refused.

I also think pep going next year will be a huge factor.

No guarantee next manager will do peps style because nobody is like pep

Ortega will do for next year as I see a transitional season now developing as we ain’t spending a Penny this summer
