For sure the right decision to come out, but as you say....

Must admit, I laughed when he did it, then thought wtf

He knew what he was doing, he purposely banged into the attacker knowing that jf things went tits up the attacker wasn't getting on the end of it.

calculated gamble that was a better option than smashing it which could easily have Cannoned off the attacker and gone anywhere.

That face from pep though perfectly summed up my reaction after the initial "waheyy" moment.
