Perhaps most impressive though was to not get himself sent off. soon as he got booked, Taylor couldn't wait for him to show even the slightest sign of taking the piss to justify him booking him again and sending him off, had the intelligence not to allow it to happen.

I’ve been a big critic of his shot stopping in recent years but since the World Cup it’s seemingly improved tenfold. Brilliant again today.

Entirely irreplaceable.

I anticipated Eddie getting a second as I thought Taylor would forego the orthodox reffin' approach and wait until the 87th min for a yellow for timewasting - I thought he was gonna pull one out on 67!
