Yes no worries with Eddie / i too have had the odd wobble with his shot stopping but he had a great season and perfect for us. Been here a long time now.

I'm guilty of it as well but I think we as fans take his distribution for granted at this point. Whenever I watch another team, I'm shocked at how poor goalies' distribution is more times than not and how much it impacts their entire game.
 
The Athletic gets lots of heat in the media thread, often with good reason, but some of the tactical stuff is excellent.

Brilliant example here with this article about our tactics against man to man. Ederson is the focus of the article and a reminder of how his distribution is unparalleled.

Their tactical podcast is just as good. Fantastic piece enjoyed reading it so much!

Honestly feel Pep will push the boat even more and thing is most clubs try copy but there is only one Ederson!

That is by far the best article I have read analysing what he brings to us. He is absolutely unique. Many joked about him playing in outfield positions. This analysis shows that he already largely is. A midfielder who could spray 80 yard passes all over the pitch, to feet, would be lauded as one of the best in the world. We take it for granted with Eddie every week. Thanks for posting this mate.
