The 3rd was comical and in hindsight once he realised that he was in no-mans land he should have taken one for the team and we play the last few minutes with 10 men

He's been rubbish this entire season and has killed the narrative that the reason his save percentage is so low is because we face few chances.

Thing is if he doesnt do the sweeping he gets battered , it is literally his job to come out like he does , it doesnt always work but lets face it the defenders are not helping him at the moment and he is getting really exposed

It doesn't help that every game he has a different defence in front of him. Teams that don't concede many have a settled back line that the keeper is in sync with.

We all know Eddy isn't the best shot stopper and makes big howlers now and again but he's brave and not frightened to come off his line to try and clear the ball. De Gea was one of the best shot stoppers in the world but he was terrible at commanding his area and hardly ever came off his line.

Ederson has been an integral part to our success and how we play and will be until he leaves.

And I'd be even more surprised if there are not multiple additions come January.. it may not be the perfect fix but anything is better than the current state of things.

Tell you what though, without him this season we’d be about 10th. There’s been about four or five games where he’s made big saves when the game was even or one goal in it.

I think Ederson can be forgiven the third goal. How many times has he gotten those moments right and saved us in the past? The second where he was beaten at the near post was shite. Still been one of our best players this season and has saved us a few points already.
