It was more or less right at him, but still, one of those moments that show how sharp players at the top level are to be able to react that quickly and get both hands on it.

Ball he spilled wasn't a simple shot at all, palmer hit it very deliberately so it bounced right infront of him, that makes it an infinitely more difficult shot to take in, any Sunday league keeper will tell you this.

it's a shot a lot of keepers would choose to parry and obviously in hindsight he should have too but Ederson usually smoothers them well. Little bit of early season rustiness effects the keepers too, it's not a concern.

The save he made from Jackson wasn't so much the reflex save itself, I'd expect every premier league keeper to do that, the inportant part was the correct positioning so that he can make that. top keeping

just popping in to say he looks overweight, couldnt save a pudding and our high risk play out from the back style isnt even used that much anymore. barely anyone presses us high and Ortega and most modern keepers could play passes with the lack of pressure we’re under in most matches. Ederson’s USP is not employed by us anymore
