I know it comes with the territory of being a goalkeeper, but it's disappointing to see no love here. It's scary to think how great Brentford's press would have looked if we didn't have a keeper with his quality to use a pressure release. Watching their goal back, it sure looks like Stones just completely shanks the clearance, as I saw some people blaming him for it.

More assists than Antony, by the way.
Not Johnny's fault. In fact, the commentator on MotD thought that Wissa couldn't believe his luck. When did we last get a deflection that looped up straight onto one of our players' head? OK, I'll tell yer - Bernardo v Real two fuckin' seasons ago!

That pass was so precise and perfectly weighted. Man is a genius when it comes to passing.

The best transfer of this summer was -> keeping Ederson..

Ortega is great keeper but Ederson has the vibe of world-class GK and that's important.

And why he has that vibe ? Watch the second goal. That's it..

Great again tonight. Not standout amazing moment but just a solid assured performance. few saves that were trickier than he made them look, handling was superb and distribution top class. One really erratic swing late on that he completely miss hit and could easily have cost us but ended up looking like a worldie of a pass as it went straight to Rico.

I don`t know how the rules are when oppo players block you in the 6 yard box but he has to positioning himself better during the corner...no way an oppo player should to do a header from 2 yards...first goal he slipped during the first step because of the rain

One keeper was allowed to pick off crosses,
the other one was encircled by 4 players on his line and couldn't act as a keeper.
We need a rule clarification or we'll see it - on top off catching and holding - as standard corner kick procedure.

Needs to be much stronger for their second goal, he went down far too easily

It's strange because he's usually very good at dealing with crosses

The first corner that Gabriel headed over was a warning that Ederson was being pinned to his line. We didn't give him any more protection for the corner they scored from and it was pretty much identical. Two Arsenal players right on top of him, unchallenged. Should he have just barged through them anyway? Ideally, yes. But we didn't help him at all
