Depends what you class as a mistake.

Last night's mistakes (off the top of my head without watching back).

- hesitated after Vini's poor touch and then took him out, saved by the offside.
- off balance for Mbappe's shinner, better balance and it was an easy catch, or at worst, a diving save.
- praised for a one v one save against Vinicius, but I feel the low cross was one he should have come for in the first place.
- horrendous dropkick straight to Real.
- aimless parry straight to Brahim.
- walkabout for no reason on the 3rd goal.

It's not good enough for a team wanting to win things. Neither keeper is in great form, both possibly don't want to be here any more. We need 2 new ones in the summer. Regardless of all the other mistakes by other players, if the keepers were on opposite sides last night we'd have had a comfortable win.
If my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle

Thought after his 1st season that he could become a legend of the game. Sadly, he didn't develop further. If anything, his distribution has become (slightly) worse. Cost us daft goals vs Feyenoord and Real, which killed us in this CL season.

Take a moment mate.

To me he is and always will be a legend, not least for the difference he immediately made after Bravo plus his entertainment value in a trophy laden era. His mistakes now perhaps with one eye on a comfortable family life in the sunshine should never diminish his amazing contribution .

Totally agree.

A City legend, of course. I meant something more ambitious: a legend of the game, not just a City legend.

Kept us in it? When?

He made a good save from Vinicius second half, but tbh I think he should have come and taken the low cross anyway in the first place. That's the only one I remember.

First half I actually thought his passing and composure was excellent. Second half was like a different player. At fault on all 3 goals - twice on the second one!

I know people like him, but something is off with him at the moment. I'm saying this part slightly tongue in cheek, but it feels like somebody must be making money off his poor decisions.
the beautiful game — Lucas Paqueta's dance after scoring the 4'th...

Years ago our Leeds based removal co moved a family in next door to him in Alderley Edge, " your goalies been playing footy with his kids all afternoon, hes a mad looking xxxxer" , legend!

The guy has revolutionised the way we all look at goalkeepers.

Incredible talent and one of the most likeable characters in the game that is liked and respected by all football fans.

As with KDB,Berni, Gundo, Walker, Pep the pile on while times are harder and legs, minds slower shows our fanbase to be no different from all the other expectant entitled fanbases in this era of immediate social media judge and jury.
Watching these players coming to the end of this era is uncomfortable especially as even at their peak the Etihad emptied faster than Rooneys love sack approaching a care home.

When he decided he wanted to go in the summer that should have been it. He has been great for us, but even in the early days when he was lauded I noticed that as an actual shot stopping goalkeeper, he is just alright. That was fine considering what he brought to the team with the ball at his feet. He has always had a major fuck up in him but kind of got away with it. It is a shame that for some his status has gone down a notch this season, similar to some others but the truth hurts sometimes. He isn't good enough

Wow. Didn’t realise how spoilt City fans are these days. Ederson kept us in the game. One poor pass and City fans all over him. Shameful
Kept us in the game? He made two half decent saves that any PL keeper would be expected to save, one of which was only needed because he failed to command his area and collect a simple ball to Bellingham.

He’s that shite at shot stopping that when he actually makes a save, some fans swoon over him doing his actual fucking job.

He was totally flat footed for the first, at fault twice for the second and over committed and gifted a simple goal for the third.

He used to rarely make worldie saves but never fucked up and his feet made it worthwhile but he’s bang average across the board now. We should have let him follow the Saudi money when he wanted last summer.

The first half of his City career was excellent but the second half has been poor, a few good spells of form notwithstanding.

As Vini was going through 1 on 1 early in the game there was only ever going to be 2 outcomes, score or an Ederson brainfart and give away a pen.
Saved by the third option of offside

He's just so bad at everything other than his feet.
