32 | Maximo Perrone - 2024/25

Como won 3-1 at Atalanta last night. Perrone played around 75 mins. Hopefully next season he will be ready. Very impressive.

Looks good however, Pep would only trust Kova/Gundo/Stones in there. I feel like even if we buy a replacement today that replacement wouldn't get a game for months on until they settle in and learn the way that Pep wants the 6 to play. It took Rodri a year on the bench to become a starter for us and even then he still got benched in the final against Chelsea.

Thats still sounds crazy cuz he was better than Fernandinho since the first day

Rodri started 29 games in the league in his first season, along with 8 starts in the Champions League.

Fernandinho only started to decline towards the end of that season and Rodri took a little time to bed in and become a starting quality player for us. Fernandinho was still phenomenal in 2019.

Same video was posted here 3 weeks ago. The last 2 matches [no videos, sad face] he's started in a double pivot with Sergio Roberto, done fine. SR is just such a frenetic player it dilutes Max's creative impact. He's still steady tho - twitter loves Max. Last match against Atalanta reminded me of his time at Las Palmas ... stuck almost back between the CH's as Como withstood a comeback attempt on the road. I'm trying to decide if I'm impressed with Fabregas' first baby steps as a mgr.
