Watched some como games. Perrone is talented on the ball but his physicality falls short of PL level. Very tidy player but will get bullied, I think.

Juve are pretty physical.. infact they spend more time crying to refs than actually playing footy.

Can't believe we lost to that lot by playing sideways and backwards.. Como had more shots on goal in the first 30 minutes than we did.

Ayways Perrone.. he handled himself quite well.. very technical player. Could handle Juve's physicality just fine.

Didn't see him stand out negatively in any way.

So a bit like Lewis & Nunes then.
Lewis has a strong lower body, I think his positioning is just really dumb at times. Perrone is just light. It's different.

Maxi looks like a city player with how he plays and moves. Smart and technical but we saw how we have looked with a lack of physicality in the midfield this year. I don't think that part of his game plays here. Definitely not in a pivot or double pivot role and i don't know if he offers enough dynamism to play as an 8 for us.

He could be a decent depth guy but with int'l spots limited, I think he's going to be sold on. Just my opinion, could very well be wrong.

Likely the signing of Gonzalez has made him reconsider his position and it would make sense to stay there permanently. We've also been credited with an interest in his teammate at Como, Nico Paz, who would be a very interesting addition if true.
yeah saw that. Ive seen Como a few times, Fab gets his team playing some nice possessions stuff. Wouldn't be adverse to setting up a loan partnership with them while he is there tbh for some lads on the periphery .

Gabriel. Paz is an exciting prospect but think Madrid retained a very low buyback option which they would be bonkers not to trigger.

I know, they seem to have it both low and even set low over successive seasons, which is why I thought it rather odd to see us even linked. Internazionale apparently want him, too, so I suppose it will boil down to what Real Madrid want to do with him and where the player himself wants to go.

The Roma game was one of his better performances of the year.

Still, every time I've seen Como, I've been incredibly impressed with Nico Paz.
