3rd unidentified object shot down, this time over Canada - P17

It was on the news earlier and they said they wouldn’t shoot it down. Why the fuck not?
Because countries can only claim airspace up to a certain altitude. If the Americans shot down the balloon, they would be creating a precedent whereby any country with the capability could potentially feel within it's rights to shoot down a foreign geostationary satellite that was above its airspace.
I think the Americans are just going to have to swallow this one.
 
Now I am wonder how far up does a countrys air space go up, I always thought it was the troposphere and stratosphere, the mesophere and above though is fair game.

was gonna post how high is this chinaman first but thought it was just a thing he said and meaning would be lost to all ;-)
