He played ok. He doesn’t look like a natural defensive midfielder on this performance but early days. I really think Rico could do that job.

Although he did some things reasonably well, he stuck out to me as a level below the rest of the team and just not fitting in to the patterns of play.

He'll get more opportunities, but he'll have to be better than that.

I think he would come good if he could get enough game time, I'm just not sure he will. The drop off at the moment from Rodri is too much.

Thought he was alright. A couple of probing line-breaking passes were the highlight. Played very much within himself, but, hopefully, that's more to do with him not playing much up to this point.

Nope we would be more fair minded seeing it was his first full game for City in a long while.
