Just looking at some stats on the FPL website and it says he's played 102 minutes of PL football for us this season, that's shocking. Seems like a really nice lad but we can't carry passengers in a squad, that's not the biggest..

Also a top level level footballer of lucky may have ten level seasons. He has just waisted one completely. Best as you say to say goodbye.

Only Perrone who's had minutes has played less, and he had 1 sub appearance I think. Don't want to get on his back but if he's not trusted then better to move him on while clubs will still pay decent money.

Phillips is absolute shite, but so were most players in their 1st season under Pep.

Let's judge him in next season

We will see. For the record. I couldn't care less if Kalvin stays or not. I just refuse to buy into this idea that he's here because the club didn't do their homework and hes here because he won a competition.

He's definitely better than most midfielders in the league which is why we bought him. He will never reach the standards of Rodri and Pep can be very stubborn sometimes and will always fall back to his tried and trusted so I don't put any stock into Phillips not playing a lot.

I think Txiki definitely did his homework on Phillips. I personally think that the problem lies in his general attitude. He thought he'd made it when he signed, but the hard work hadn't even started.
I think he's had a big shock on how tough it is at City.

He's gone from all action non stop midfielder to looking like the game is too fast for him, id expect Everton or villa to give us our money back but kalvin hasn't shown any improvement all season to suggest he'll kick on next year.

It's not Kaz, it's Lavinda!

I honestly think that MacTominay would be chosen ahead of Phillips if both were at the rags.

MacTominay offers more to the team he's in, albeit a poor one. He's frequently a stand out player in midfield, even alongside the likes of Casemiero.
Phillips offers very very little. He's not a game changer, and looks out of his depth at top level. I still can't believe he gets picked for England.

No criticism of Phillips per se, he's a solid professional. Im just giving my opinion on his ability to play at City's level.
OK Kaz.
