Yep, we keep going back to Del Boy and Rodders at the market.Another player bought on the cheap that’s not good enough
I’m not sure,he’s 27 so he doesn’t have the luxury of a year or two bedding in as some have already said. He actually looks completely out of his depth. He offers nothing .One good game at the very start.
Since then he's been mediocre.
Hopefully he's just getting up to speed with the intensity of this league.

The bedding in excuse is given every time we sign a player. It would be quite nice to buy one who actually hits the ground running. Only Haaland has done that in the last 3 years and maybe Donnarumma too.I’m not sure,he’s 27 so he doesn’t have the luxury of a year or two bedding in as some have already said. Which is fuck all in this day and age. We want to compete with the best we need to be going out paying top prices for the best rather than 2nd rate players we can get off clubs that are desperate to sell or players that have low buy out clause’sHe cost £47m

Fernandinho played like a headless chicken at times during his first season under Pep, and that was at the age of 31 after two seasons in England. From there, it clicked. Reijnders has things to learn but he'll get there. We've asked a #10 to play as a #6 and an #8 this season while getting used to a new team and a new league. He's had good days and bad days, he'll have more of both, but he's getting there imo.
Read it again.Disagree with Ferny.
He was utterly immense in his first season with us and we wouldn't have won the league without him. We had finally found a replacement for Barry after his shocking 2012/13 season along side Garcia.
His second and third season were a little off, but it didn't help him that Toure looked like he was on his last legs and he was doing the work of two men in a Pellegrini system that played very high risk high reward football.
And that's one of the problems with this team, far too many players who could play the 10 role at a high standard, and not enough players who can play the 8 or on the wing's at a high standard. Our recruitment for playing this formation has been really poor. We've asked a #10 to play as a #6 and an #8 this season while getting used to a new team and a new league. Don’t forget we’ve also needed to sign a number of other players as part of a big rebuild (after already spending loads in January) so couldn’t spend too much on individual players.Which is fuck all in this day and age.
