40M Bid from Corinthians

If there are any legs on this story there could be scope for a player exchange, plus cash adjustment. Sneijder>>><<<Tevez......... Moratti likes these.

who's moratti? Plus, I don't think we're gonna purchase sneijder. That would just be too pointless. He's a trequartista, that 'area' of expertise is gonna be covered by aguero (if we get him). Sneijder's not as dynamic as aguero to go in our system, sorry.

Apart from Sky sources, still no mentions from the British press of the supposed Corinthians offer of £40m.

Telegraph mentioned it, but as I said there has been nothing in the Braziliian press yet

On the contrary the source is the Brazilian press....the lancenet.

http://www.lancenet.com.br/corinthians/

They say they haven't increased their bid, just altered terms of the add-ons. Their bid seems to be all about add-ons!

I think we should stay away fom any deal with the brazilians unless its all cash up front i dont believe that they have anywhere near enough money to afford a cash deal and if there is to many strings attached to this deal we wont be hearing the last of this

Not suprisingly there doesnt seem to be much interest in the shit.Just accept the offer, get him out and move on.
Then how about siging Modric as a back up tp Silva.

Would probably prefer nasri as a alternative to silva but modric i wouldnt complain about either but lets face it harry isnt going to let modric come to us being rivals. Think nasri is more likely simply cos arsenal have a big decision to make sell him or lose him free

I would refuse it full stop, we could get more either in swap with Inter or pure ding from Malaga.

Do Malaga have the ability to throw around that kind of cash? Yes they´ve been splashing a bit on cheaper "has beens" but I doubt they´re in a position to find CT kind of dosh. Plus they are NOT in the CL and are unlikely to be so in the foreseeable future. Their owners have dosh but they´ve missed the FFP boat. They would be in breach immediately and would therefore not be able to finance future projects through CL revenue. IMO they are in a vicious circle

I didn't like the sound of their first offer, the way that payments would be a % of their future tv deal, they obviously haven't got the cash for a properly structured transfer. This 2nd bid is probably along the same lines, what happens if the tv company did a Setanta? Can of worms!
