40th Party...

I had a massive house party for my 30th because back then I was very sociable, living in a big house share and it felt right. Great messy weekend.

For my 40th me and the missus spent 10 days in Berlin together, visiting Potsdam on my birthday on a gloriously sunny day in June. I definitely didn't want a party for my 40th haha.

I will be fucking off again for my 50th but may ask a small group of close friends if they fancy it as one of them will be 50 a week after mine so we could have a joint birthday holiday somewhere.
 
Sounds fucking hideous, my idea of absolute hell.

Surely your mrs knows you well enough to know you won’t like it?

If my mrs suggested that I’d just say “oooh yeah sounds like a great idea, yes please go ahead and plan it….


Tell me how it went when you get home because there’s no fucking way in a million years I’m going.”

My wife asked me where I wanted to go for my 50th. Anywhere I wanted.
Next thing you know, we are watching City batter the scum 4-1

Missus at the time took me to Krakow for a few days, one of which we spent visiting there. It was an absolutely cracking trip in truth but I took pleasure in constantly telling everyone she took me to auschwitz for my birthday and leave it to her to explain that decision.

For my missus 40th we both went to Florence. She's a red (I know, I know...) and it was the Derby while we were there. We decided to watch it together in a pub, which we never do...

City were 4-0 up at half time hahahaha. It finished 6-3 obviously. Happy Birthday luv!
