Quicker than Vini Jnr and those 2 absolute cunts commentating ( talking shit ) never mentioned it once . This lad is a beast has loads of bottle and potential world class and just kept going and going . Fantastic learning curve for him last night the lad has endless potential !
at one point they were saying foden should be helping him then later on whats foden doing there coving the full back

The media propaganda on this kid is bizzare and disgusting. And seems like a lot of people have fallen for it! I always recall the pile on John faced in 2015-16 season and Pep had to remind them of his 'balls' to the entire press conference. DEJA VU!

He has been good in all the games apart from that shaky 10 mins against Chelsea. Can't ask more from a young CB coming to a top club in the mid season. We will see how amazing he is next season once he has a proper preseason and is fully integrated with the squad!

They are desperate for him to fail , still not dropped the Chelsea incident.
Khusanov has exceptional mentality and is very strong aswell as talented. This lad could be an absolute legend for MCFC .
Word is Khusanov was much sort after because of his outstanding potential and City got in first hence the media agenda against him just like when we signed KDB and a few others ;-)

Stripped back, I'm amazed McPointy and Camel have jobs as commentators. They're absolutely wank and offer zero tactical insight. They essentially just make comments about the game. That's the job of the primary commentator while the co-commentator should be providing some form of insight into why something is happening, not what is happening.

I hear a lot of shit for McCoist but at least he says what a striker is doing right/wrong. Joe Hart was the same last week for the Celtic/Bayern game and was giving really good analysis about goalkeeping and mentality.

The shit that's served up for the majority of the time on TNT is shocking and it baffles me that they stick with the same nonsense every year. They're all walking soundboards - they say what they think should be said, cater to the majority and don't say anything of particular weight. Just cliche after cliche.

Had a great game last night once he settled into the rhythm and intensity.

Has he played much at RB for his previous clubs?

All things considered, he looks very promising

They obviously are trying to appeal to the minority. Ie not City fans.

A few years back it would always be a pro English team commentary in Europe but since the rags couldn’t get in to Europe, this policy has been reversed

He has pace so most likely pep will use him as a full back against pacey wingers or the bigger teams overall. Wouldn't shock me if he plays at right back against liverpool. If he continues to impress, he could be made into a right back permanently like gvardiol. It just seems odd to me that one of our biggest weaknesses was right back and we bought two centre backs. Does anyone think he was always bought with the idea of him playing at right back atleast against fast wingers?

Sorry but that is bullshit. That is Rico's position but Khusanov was in my opinion a level above.
Last week in that position Rico did get hammered by some, he put in several good tackles on Vinicius and supported the attack well and provided the pass where we got the penalty from. Neither player was flawless, Khus got skinned a couple of times and was indecisive on the second goal. Pretty similar quality of performance from a couple of young players in a struggling team up against some very good players.

I find McManaman pretty inoffensive as far as ex-dippers go, but as soon as Camel gob showed up, fuck me. He really is thick as pig shit, isn't he? Thankfully my stream fucked up and when it came back on, it was CBS instead.

I thought he did really well in what was a poor performance. We can see that despite those two cunts commentating, im sure the coaches and analysts at the club will be pleased with Khusanov after last night. Certainly can make RB his own now Akanji out for the season.

Without going into fanboy territory,
Go watch the 2nd goal again.

Nico loses rodrygo and doesn't track back, leaving Khusanov having to split into two to try and stay with Mbappe, whilst stopping Rodrygo.

Yet again, we do it to ourselves.

I don't think the goal was predominantly Khus's fault, my point was that Rico and Khus have somewhat different standards applied to them.
Khus was put in a poor situation by the rest of the defense and had a difficult task but he could have reacted quicker and stopped that attempt.
The previous week Rico was given a hospital pass by Kova which he could have done slightly better on . In both cases a goal was scored in both cases the main fault was others in the team , however both players could have done slightly better.

Don't get me wrong I thought Khus was reasonable for much of the game and I'm optimistic that we have indeed made a good signing, but had Rico played a similar game to that he would be heavily criticised on here.

I'm not sure on that . Khusanovs talent and potential jumped out last night excluding a few mistakes . Mostly early in the game . Even in a position he's never played in .

His atletism is in a different world to Rico's aswel.
