I suspect you may be right there Kaz and I suspect with the recent publicity we have had, they will keep digging for more sticks. They clearly are hurting at what we have achieved
It's the same as it was with sancho,if the kid had left other any other manager or club no-one would have even noticed, shame some blues keep going on about it as well,as to the media, any percieved weakness and they are straight in,the glee that we have lost 2 games is in stark contrast to the mood from them at the end of last season

It will make it all the sweeter when we lift silverware again this season

Yeah, nobody ever mentioned Pogba leaving Utd on a free.

Huh? For two seasons after his transfer KDB would be brought up every time we played Chelsea, same thing with Salah. Pogba leaving United didn't exactly go under the radar either. Just this past week about Gnabry leaving Arsenal... the list goes on.

Sancho left us and immediately become one of the best players in the Bundesliga, broke into the England squad, and will be sold for £100m this summer. That would be a story wherever he played.

Nothing like the same and you know it,his club has set a price to put buyers of,he is nowhere worth that amount of money, this started the sec we didn't take him on the tour, everyone got him to do interviews,he was on the debate a sky show, absolutely ridiculous, just because it was pep he had turned down, read more and watch more, you sound very ignorant of the media here,i'm giving up

Right, says the person who hasn't watched him at Dortmund at all.

Probably is worth that tbf, in today’s market and looking at other £100m+ transfers that have gone before.

England U21 manager Aidy Boothroyd on @PhilFoden: “In an ideal world, he’d be captain of Man City and playing every week, but at this moment in time in his development, he’s playing with the best players in the world every day..."

"...with one of the best coaches in the world, in Pep, and he’s getting his little bit from us, from England. Sometimes in our society someone does well and we want to microwave them into being a superstar when they’re not quite ready..."

“Phil just loves the game. He loves playing, and we’re happy and enjoy having him because he wants to learn. He goes away having learned something every time. We have to carry him off the training pitch because he just loves the game." [via @talkSPORT]

It wasn't either or in the summer,we needed bodies in midfield,we play 60 games a season if not more

A midfield depth of Gundogan, Fernandinho, Silva, Bernardo, De Bruyne and Foden would still be comfortably the best in the league.
