He sees what he can do every day.
Foden clearly has the potential, but Pep, despite this weekends abomination, is an elite manager who would clearly play Foden if he thought he was the answer or he will do when he is. Sick and tired of the Bluemoon HR department demanding he plays the academy. There'll be plenty of time for that unfortunately when he's gone.

Do you think Foden should have played more than 10 minutes of football in our first 8 games? Bearing in mind that he probably wouldn't have played at all if Sane hadn't got injured.

He will get his time, but patience is going to be needed
I get that and have no doubt the club/manager think they're doing right by him. But from a fans point of view, I don't see how adding his energy to the team a bit more would make us a poorer side. Probably give us a lift.

I thought he signed a new contract this summer.

This is a fundamental issue with Foden’s development - it should have been either retain Gundogan and use him primarily as a #6 - where his best performances generally come these days - or sell him and sign Rodri.

The fact Pep’s been allow to stockpile means there’s an experience-based, non-meritocratic hierarchy in place that’s preventing him from playing enough games to develop.

So are you saying he hasn't improved or developed at all since Pep arrived?

What does that mean? Liverpool, Barca, Madrid, Bayern, PSG etc have all proven it to be a sustainable model, why are we different?
When did the dippers win back to back titles and every domestic honour,PSG are in a one team league, the other 3have b teams to bring kids through but aside from that... this thread is getting more hysterical by the week

It wasn't either or in the summer,we needed bodies in midfield,we play 60 games a season if not more

They won the Champions League, the biggest pot of all.
