I enjoyed Foden's performance on Wednesday night. I love his energy and his skill. For this reason, I couldn't for the life of me not understand how Pep didn't think it worth it to give him half an hour in the derby when we needed a spark.

There was a sequence of play in the first half the other night when it reminded me of some of our excellent passing over the past two years, something we've seen very little of this year.

Yeah it was completely baffling and utterly frustrating. We had all the ball and it was crying out for a goal scoring midfielder with the ability to beat a man. Instead he swapped Rodri for Gundo. Shocking to be honest.

Brahim Diaz, what happened with him at Real?
He has 40 minutes paying time so far for Real's first squad this season.
40 minutes. 4 times he came in from bench, 10 minutes on average.

No idea why they bought him and didnt loan him out where he could play 30 games maybe in La Liga for a weaker club.

He's been injured almost constantly unfortunately.

Zidane supposedly really likes him and was starting him quite a lot at the back end of last season, which is why he didn't go on loan, but this season has been injury after injury.

Foden faster than Walker? it seems he clocked the 3rd fastest speed in the league this year ahead of Walker. With this kind of speed he has even more option to play as a left winger. I will even be tempted to try him as left back. He might be the solution hiding in plain sight.
