For me it's all about how long is he prepared to sit on the bench and watch young rags being selected for England after making a few appearances.

I do indeed Karen, it is my view that he is currently being wasted at City while Pep prefers players who are out of form. It is your view that he is being prepared to step straight into David Silvas shoes at the end of this season, by not getting any meaningful playing time. Which to be honest I think looks like complete nonsense after every game these days. Yet you still persist with this view ?

Well said.Anybody who thinks Foden is being correctly prepared to take over Silva next season,when the lad doesnt even play when our captain is out is deluded imo.
A pedestrian midfield at spurs yesterday really could have done with the energy and natural goal scoring instincts of one of the best young players in the country..he is deemed ,by our manager not good enough tp start in anything other than cup matches against lower opposition...that is no good for his development.. The lad should have gone out on loan at the start of the season,but was prob persiaded to stay after Peps praise from high heaven.

The reality is Foden doesnt feature in the league even tho the title is gone,will not play against Madrid will not start in the league cup final......what exactly is his role at City ?..

Sadly you’re probably right. Hopefully Pep will be honest with him though rather than continue to string him along.

Yes I was actually as we created enough chances to easily win the game

If the stats I'm reading are correct, he's got seven direct goal contributions in nine starts this season. Some of those have come when he's been played out of position.

It's almost like we're missing out on a direct goal threat whilst the players we do pick are struggling to convert chances.
