Learned his lessons when David Silva was around. His sharp movement with the ball across the pitch is something he must have picked up from Merlin.

What a gift to have a player like Foden. And how important he is for the team now. Without Phil today I'm pretty confident City would be out. I only saw snippets of the game and in that time there were two fantastic through balls that should have resulted in goals and the goal itself.

Tired of pundits criticising his game time , he is now a regular first team player who gets rotated occasionally like any other of our star players , if we have to pick our best starting eleven , then Foden is in the team , no doubt.

Phil is currently on 9 goals this season. He is well on track to beating Dave's record of 12 goals and needs to score another 8 goals this season to beat Kevin's record (16). Incredible.

Ridiculous BBC bias or sentiment giving it to Tozer: Phil was far and away MotM.

More importantly the lad is showing every sign that he is now more than just a kid with potential; he is still a kid and his potential is still massive but the consistency that he himself referred to the importance of post match is currently a feature of his game.

Lineker Shearer and Micah all gave a little titter when they discussed Murphys motm award. They knew it was a stupid decision from a bitter man.
