I'd say that is a safe bet. Pep said a couple of weeks back that our surge in form was “The only difference is that we run less. We were playing running too much. With football you have to walk – or run much less, without the ball you have to run. But with the ball you stay more in position and let the ball run, not you. That’s improved in these games.” So I guess it's the old fashioned call of "let the ball do the work"I'd wager he'd been instructed not to do things like that.
This season more than ever we've become super conscious of conceding, and unnecessary dribbling might open a team up but it could also open your own team up to a counter. I'm pretty sure their late chance came from an unnecessary Dias pass upfield for instance.
