This adaptability of the front 3 is so nice to see and is why seeing them play in any of the positions doesn't really bother me.I think the point is that they are not just stuck to one position. It is just a front 3, all interchanging, dropping in and out of positions. Like his Barca team of old e.g. Henry, Messi, Villa, Pedro and so forth. Torres, Foden, Sterling and Jesus is an exciting group of players that can play anywhere across the front line.
Foden himself though, world class. That fourth goal just truly capped it off.
My post was more specific that the benefit to younger attacking players (like Foden and Torres) will learn more when they don't stick to one position. It could backfire of course, and maybe some players need to stick to one spot, but if they are truly intelligent footballers, it will make them grow faster.
